LAGUNA-Plus – artificial leather with lamination foam and charmeuse

The wall and ceiling cladding LAGUNA-Plus is a combination of the artificial leather LAGUNA with laminating foam and charmeuse. LAGUNA-Plus has a comfortable padding and an insulating effect is obtained from the foam that is used in the middle. Due to the slight grain and shading of the surface (especially in the colors ivory and silk grey), the material appears lively and typical of leather. The back is covered with a charmeuse, which on the one hand causes greater strength and on the other hand is the right basis for the adhesive.

We recommend our solvent-free UNI-Kleber 140 for bonding.
You can create templates in advance for areas that are difficult to access. Our stencil film is ideally suited for this.

When processing the wall and ceiling cladding directly on the boat wall (e.g. GRP) it can be exposed to strong sunlight come to light through. This is not a defect, but is explained by the composition and construction of the hull.

Processing

Generously cut LAGUNA-Plus to suit the area. Then apply the solvent-free UNI-Kleber 140, set back about 2-3 cm from the edges, in stages on the surfaces to be glued. Allow the adhesive to flash off a little – observe the data sheet (supplied). After a given time, place LAGUNA-Plus, also in stages, in the still semi-damp adhesive bed, correct if necessary and then press firmly. Cut the edges to size, apply a little glue, let it flash off briefly, glue on the PVC mounting rails and insert LAGUNA-Plus.

Cleaning

Wipe with a damp cloth with warm water with the addition of liquid mild detergent. A maintenance measure to preserve the material is not necessary.
