CARPET BRAKE – Underlay for carpets

The carpet brake is a non-slip protection and is ideal as a base for carpets and textile floor coverings on smooth floors such as parquet, laminate, vinyl, tiles and the like. The cross-laid needle felt made of 100% polyester is provided with a light nub profile on the top. With the carpet stop, slipping carpets and floor coverings are a thing of the past. Simply cut the desired size of the carpet brake with scissors. In addition to the desired anti-slip protection, the carpet brake increases sure-footedness and walking comfort. The carpet brake is washable and suitable for underfloor heating.

Cleaning

The carpet brake is washable up to 30° C with mild detergent with little loss of slip resistance.

Areas of application

Suitable as underlay for carpets and textile floor coverings on smooth floors (parquet, laminate, vinyl, tiles, etc.) indoors -> nubbed side up – smooth side down.

Can also be used as a “hiking stop” between carpeting and fitted carpets indoors -> nubbed side down – smooth side up.
